The need for mental health services in Michigan is great. Data from the 2012 Cover Michigan Survey showed  a higher prevalence of depression and anxiety in Michigan than the U. S. average. Mental health disorders cause more disability among Americans than any other illness group. The consequences of mental health include increased difficulty completing everyday activities, such as school and work, more days of limited activity and often greater morbidity and mortality. Adults with serious mental illness die on average 25 years younger than the general population, which is why we offer mental health and behavioral health services at Hamilton Community Health Network.

Our mental health professionals, Dr. Veronica Williams, Director of Behavioral Services and Eraina Poole offer services to children, adolescents, adults and the geriatric populations with diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy, and psychoanalytic techniques in several treatment modalities.
