Hamilton Community Health Network announces opening of new Hamilton-Flint Clinic

FLINT, MI – Hamilton Community Health Network (HCHN) has been serving the Flint community for over 35 years. Last week, the organization recognized National Health Center Week with various community events. At the cusp of National Health Center Week, HCHN is celebrating the opening of a new clinic, Hamilton-Flint conveniently located in Catholic Charities, Center for Hope, 812 Root St., on the 2nd floor. The clinic officially opened for business, August 27, 2018. This newest expansion will bring the organization to a total of seven clinics within Genesee and Lapeer County and afford them the opportunity to service a broader sector of the population.

The clinic will provide comprehensive family medicine health care, including behavioral health services, accepting patients of all ages. It also features an on-site lab and is fully staffed.  The staff includes Lynda McDonald, Family Nurse Practitioner, Randal Joyce, Recovery Coach and Albert Ujkaj, Social Worker/R.N.

Clarence Pierce, Chief Executive Officer said, “We are excited to have this unique relationship with Catholic Charities, Center for Hope.  Our partnership will allow much needed health care services to be provided to clients without leaving the center.”

“Hamilton-Flint clinic will provide integrated health care services initially, with additional services added in the near future,” said Patty Wagenhofer-Rucker, Director of Integrative Services for the clinic.

The Hamilton-Flint Clinic will be open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Walk-ins are also accepted on a limited basis.  To schedule an appointment, call 810-406-4246.
