Liability Coverage
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), in accordance with the Federally Supported Health Centers Assistance Act (FSHCAA), deems Hamilton Community Health Network to be an employee of the Public Health Service for the purpose of liability coverage as part of the FTCA (Federal Tort Claims Act). This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal PHS deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.

Hamilton is an FQHC, therefore, the Federal Tort Claim Act (FTCA) provides insurance.
